Is Lakesong really Glensheen?

There is a famous mansion in Duluth called Glensheen which was the scene of a gruesome murder in 1977. A number of readers have asked if Lakesong is really Glensheen. The answer is no. Although both mansions follow the Jacobean style, Lakesong is much more open and airy. You can only visit Lakesong in our books, it doesn’t really exist, but if you visit Duluth, Glensheen is worth the price of the tour.
